The Coastal Standard Group LLC

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or engaging our services. By accessing coastalstandardgroup.com or scheduling any service with The Coastal Standard Group LLC ("The Coastal Standard," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services Offered

The Coastal Standard Group LLC provides the following services in Harford County, Cecil County, and Baltimore County, Maryland; Chester County, Pennsylvania; and the Wilmington/Newark, Delaware area:

  • Residential Cleaning (Standard, Premium, and Elite tiers)

  • Commercial Cleaning

  • Home Watch Services

  • Companion Care Services (pending availability)

Service availability, scope, and pricing are subject to change. All services are provided subject to a confirmed quote and signed service agreement where applicable.

2. Eligibility

Our services and website are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By using our website or engaging our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a service agreement.

3. Quotes and Scheduling

All pricing is based on a customized quote. Submitting a quote request does not guarantee availability or constitute a binding service agreement. A service is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement (where required) and payment of the required deposit.

4. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your scheduled service date. The remaining balance is due on the day of service prior to or upon completion. Payments are processed through Square. Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards.

Invoices not paid within 7 days of the service date may be subject to a late fee. Returned or declined payments may result in suspension of future services until the outstanding balance is resolved.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Each client is extended one courtesy cancellation per calendar year with no fee, regardless of notice provided.

6. Access to Property

By scheduling a service, you authorize The Coastal Standard Group LLC and its staff or contractors to access the designated property at the agreed-upon service time. It is your responsibility to ensure access is available. If our team is unable to access the property at the scheduled time without advance notice, a lockout fee may apply.

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best service experience, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the property, including square footage, number of rooms, pets, and any areas requiring special attention

  • Securing or removing valuables, fragile items, and irreplaceable objects prior to service

  • Disclosing known hazards or conditions that may affect service delivery or staff safety

  • Ensuring that any pets are secured during the service visit

8. Satisfaction and Complaints

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of a completed service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion by contacting info@coastalstandardgroup.com or calling (443) 209-2105. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concern, which may include a complimentary re-clean of the affected area.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Coastal Standard Group LLC carries general liability insurance. In the event of damage caused by our staff during service, please notify us within 24 hours. We will investigate and respond in good faith. Our liability for any claim arising out of services rendered is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, damage resulting from client-supplied products, or damage to items not disclosed prior to service. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on coastalstandardgroup.com, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of The Coastal Standard Group LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

11. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not use our website to transmit harmful, offensive, or disruptive content, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Harford County, Maryland.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
